Artemide Mercury

Artemide Mercury is a series of large pebbles floating under an aluminium disc, reflected in the disc itself and in one another. Designed by Ross Lovegrove, the collection takes those smooth biomorphic surfaces into both ceiling and suspension versions, giving each fitting the character of a sculptural object as much as a source of light.

Across the range, the reflective pebbles stay in dialogue with their surroundings, picking up the dynamics of natural light and the movement of people around them during the day. Once illuminated, the integrated 3000K LED introduces a warm white light, and the indirect emission keeps the source out of view while allowing the reflected surfaces to shape the atmosphere of the room.

Artemide Mercury is available in polished chrome, with a stainless steel reflective frame and aluminium lighting bodies. Available as a ceiling fitting or a suspension, the collection keeps the same floating composition and strong visual presence. Best suited for larger living spaces, dining rooms, entrance halls, and other interiors where the light is expected to hold the room visually as well as illuminate it.
