Artemide Ilio

Artemide Ilio is a collection of lights designed by Ernesto Gismondi, stripped to the bare essentials, where the simple geometry creates a subtle yet functional range of lighting. First introduced as a floor lamp, Ilio has since evolved into a wider collection while keeping the same simple silhouette.

With the evolution of LED technology, offering more compact light sources, the proportions of Ilio have changed, allowing the family to develop into new versions with the same clear visual language. Ilio Mini uses a slimmer body with fewer materials, smaller dimensions, and reduced weight, while the wall version uses a slanted section to allow the cylindrical body to protrude and open up the light onto the surrounding space.

Across the collection, Ilio offers indirect light that can be used for general lighting while limiting direct glare, and it is available in finishes including Glossy Black, White, and Rubin Red, depending on the version. Ten years on, Ilio remains a highly contemporary solution for both residential and commercial interiors.

Best suited for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and other contemporary interiors where indirect light and a simple architectural presence are needed.
