Septima Pendant Light by Louis Poulsen

A new 2020 release, the Septima pendant was first seen as a prototype in 1928 at the Danish Museum of Decorative Art and was acclaimed and applauded at the time. Designed by the iconic Poul Henningsen, the designer is known for his three-shade system lights that to this day are still produced by Louis Poulsen. They allows light to be spread evenly in a glare free manner and fill the room with a warm illumination.

The original Septima pendant light went out of production in the 1940s and now enjoys new life with its reissue, as it is made from beautiful borosilicate glass. The seven shades each have an alternating clear and frosted glass panel pattern which further helps to diffuse the light source, creating an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. The inner light fixture is made from untreated brass, lending an elegant and sophisticated touch to an already renowned pendant light.
