KDLN Nami LED Suspension

The Nami suspension was designed by Alberto Saggia & Valerio Sommella and aims to emulate waves on water that glisten in the sun. Nami, meaning wave in Japanese, uses the unique rippled glass to play with light and perspectives. The resemblance of the enigma of water and the ocean is reflected onto surfaces around the shade as the light and shadows play on the rippled glass. The textured shade encompasses a metallic structure that is available in a selection of colour finishes, such as black or brass. This structure houses the integrated LED light source that produces a clean bright lumen output ideal for downlighting a dining table or having a stunning uplight to reflect the glass patterns on the ceiling.

The tranquil ocean-like refections made by the glass encompass the tranquillity and calmness of Japanese culture.
