a-emotional light Kite Ceiling / Wall

The Kite Wall Light is created by Arturo Alvarez for a-emotional light. Alvarez is a Spanish designer and innovator who references nature in his work and understands the role that organic shapes play when designing objects around the natural world. To achieve this, each shade is created using SIMETECH®, a steel and silicone mesh patented by Alvarez. This mesh allows the form to be moulded into a natural-looking shape with organic curves. The curves of the wall light are a nod to the shape of a kite, traveling along the walls as if carried by the wind.

The Kite Wall Light is designed to be installed on its own or in clusters to give the impression of a sky filled with kites flying at different heights, allowing for unique compositions to be formed for every interior. The mesh diffuses light, surrounding the shade in a warm glow. Perfect for creating a warm and playful light in domestic or commercial settings such as installing in clusters as a feature-piece on a wall, lining the length of a hallway, or illuminating a doorway.
