Secto Adilo Pendant

The Secto Adilo Pendant was designed by industrial designer Ilkka Kauppinen and released in 2025. Crafted from birch plywood, the silhouette of the Sect Adilo softly reflects and diffuses light, shielding direct glare while allowing a warm glow to pass through. The Adilo Pendant Light consists of a series of delicate wooden slats, all precisely cut and layered, and is delivered as a flat form. The shape opens seamlessly in a single, fluid movement and is easily locked into place.

Adilo offers a renewed interpretation of Secto's signature use of wood. It remains captivating yet serene, adding an organic touch to any interior, whether placed as a solitary centrepiece or combined into larger configurations. The colour temperature can be easily adjusted on the included Phillips CorePro bulb, allowing you to personalise the warmth of the illumination. Similarly, the Adilo Pendant can be dimmed to your preferred illumination. Adilo’s twirling silhouette suggests a natural flow, while the layered structure plays subtly with light and shadow. A beautiful addition to living rooms, dining spaces, bedrooms and entryways.

The Adilo Pendant has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2026 in the Product Design category, with the jury noting that the design “combines aesthetic sophistication with environmental awareness and demonstrates how traditional materials can be reinterpreted.”
