Nuura Asteea 9 Suspension

The Asteea 9 is the largest of the Asteea Collection, featuring an innovative construction with 9 arms. Two light sources are mounted on each arm, creating an indirect glow that illuminates a room without dazzling. Asymmetrical ripples run throughout the shades, adding to the organic aesthetic of the suspension while diffusing light into a play of light and shadows.

Designer Sofie Refer drew from nature when creating the Asteea 9, looking at the shape of a bellflower for inspiration. The Asteea’s profile is evocative of an arrangement of flowers, the metal arms mirroring the curved stem, while the shades are reminiscent of the flower’s head. The grand, ornamental appearance of the Asteea 9 is well suited to a large entranceway or in the centre of a dining room. In commercial spaces, the Asteea 9 is perfect for creating a lasting impression in hotel lobbies or in a contemporary restaurant.
