Normann Copenhagen Act Pendant

Simon Legald created the Act Pendants for Normann Copenhagen. With a desire to think outside the box to make the ordinary extraordinary, Normann Copenhagen was the perfect brand to produce this collection. The Act is an expression of creativity as Simon Legald has found a way to reimagine industrial waste into functional and purposeful lighting. Each pendant is crafted from PEX pipes which are sliced diagonally into ovals before being meticulously fused until the structure of the shade is formed. The oval shape of the sliced rings mirrors the overall silhouette of the pendant, creating a harmonious aesthetic.

The Act Pendant creates a welcoming ambience in any interior. The translucent shade diffuses light into a soft glow, while the oval pipe pieces it’s made from create a captivating play of shadow and light which is cast against surrounding walls. Due to the process that goes into creating them, each shade will have a unique arrangement of rings meaning no two lamps are the same. The Act Pendant is an ideal lighting solution to illuminate a dining room table. Alternatively, they can be hung in multiples in a selection of two sizes to create an elegant feature. For spacious commercial interiors, even larger clusters can be formed to create a striking visual display that is bound to leave an impact.
