Yo-Yo Floor Lamp by NORR11

A part of the NORR11 Yo-Yo collection, the Yo-Yo floor lamp was designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl exclusively for NORR11. The collaborators aim to produce designs inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian traditions, resulting in simple, clean and well-made products. The Yo-Yo floor light is no exception as they reinterpret the shape of a yo-yo by combining two opal glass spheres together to create a beautiful lampshade.

The opal glass shade diffuses the light wonderfully, resulting in a light that is ambient and also bright, providing a nice glow that warms the room. The floor light also has a dimmable function meaning you can create just the right atmosphere. The curved lines and metal structure prove to be contemporary and modernistic, whilst the glass lampshade lends a more vintage touch. This floor lamp is best suited in lounge, dining and reception areas and can be used in both domestic and professional settings.
