Space-Frame Suspension by Moooi

Designed by Marcel Wanders, one of Moooi's co-founders, the Space Frame Suspended lamp is a stunning, futuristic light. The design resembles the movement of modern day satelites, constantly moving their solar arrays; similarly the Space Frame can be adjusted to direct the light in different directions. The geometrical net is made of metal wires, while the multiple integrated LED units function as small crystal lights. The suspension is available in two metallic finish options, nickel or copper and it is certain that the Space Frame will match any interior decor and become an eye catcher.

The Space Frame lights utilise the technology that was developed by Moooi, called Electrosandwich®. As such, the LED units are powered via the conductive material by which the suspension is made of, without the need of any special wires. This method further enforces the lightness of the Space Frame's design, in a similar way that satellites float while they orbit the Earth.

The collection also includes the Space Frame floor lamp, with the lightweight geometric net that perfectly balances atop a set of oak legs.
