Moooi Dear Ingo Suspension

Designed by Ron Gilad for Moooi, the Dear Ingo Chandelier is a tribute to the 'poet of light', Ingo Maurer. This design has been such a success that the light is now housed at the Art Institute of Chicago. Gilad used to live just above Ingo Maurer's workshop in SoHo, so it was inevitable for Gilad not to be affected by Maurer's work and passion. Ron Gilad’s designs are renowned for striking a balance between the abstract and the functional, which can be seen in the Dear Ingo Suspension. Its dynamic form opens up your imagination, while its functional lighting will effectively illuminate any space.

Dear Ingo’s spider-like design comprises 16 task lamps, which are fully adjustable, creating an infinite choice of formations. This playful aspect of the design adds a touch of personality to the chandelier, while allowing its user to adjust its formation to suit the space around it perfectly. When lit, the bright light from the 16 lamps fills the room with light, offering a bright task lighting, perfect for installing above a dining table or office desk. Available in white or black, the Dear Ingo will suit contemporary decor.
