Design trio Thomas Harrit, Kim Samson, and Nicolai Sørensen took inspiration from the snowdrop flower for this floor lamp. The delicately hand-folded shade reflects the petals of the flower while the natural curve of the frame mimics the flower’s stem. The stand tilts and allows you to direct light where needed, making the Snowdrop a functional reading light as well as a decorative lamp. The Snowdrop floor lamp combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design. The pleated shade is an iconic feature of Le Klint’s lamps and features throughout the brand’s history. Each shade is expertly hand-folded from Le Klint’s pleating studio in Odense, Denmark. The shade is available in plastic foil or paper. While both are similar in appearance, the plastic foil is fire-retardant and UV-resistant. Over time, the paper shade will patinate and develop a golden hue.
