The Model 306 lamp was originally designed in 1945 by Kaare Klint. It is also known as the Kip Lamp due to its kip functionality that allows it to be used as either a table lamp or wall light. This distinctive feature gives the 306 its versatility, allowing it to be used in a wide range of spaces to fit your requirements. Each shade is hand-folded to form its iconic shape. The 306 lamp is available in a choice of plastic foil or paper shade. The plastic foil is made in Europe and is fire retardant, UV resistant, and has an antistatic surface. The paper is manufactured in Germany and is made with strict standards in line with Le Klint’s production and quality. Over time, the paper will patinate and develop a golden hue.
The Model 306 features a hand-folded lampshade that offers a gentle and diffused light. The classic conical shade guides the light into a wide downward directional lighting that illuminates the space around it, perfect for sitting on a desk or side table. The delicate shade, along with the curved bronze frame, creates an elegant aesthetic that suits both classic and contemporary interiors. As a wall lamp, the Model 306 can be displayed in pairs, framing a doorway to create a sense of balance. As a table lamp, display the lamp on a bedside table to add a warm ambience to the room.
