Kurage Table Lamp by Foscarini
The Kurage table lamp comes from a collaboration between the Japanese group Nendo and Italian designer Luca Nichetto. The name Kurage is the Japanese translation of jellyfish, which this table lamp undoubtedly resembles. With a domed lampshade and slender legs, this lamp seems to float in the air just like a creature in the water, being dainty, intriguing and delicate.
The shade is made from Japanese washi paper which sits on a transparent structure to to make sure the light is shadow free. The paper shade diffuses the light, creating a soft and warm atmosphere, perfect for relaxing in your space.
