Flos Taraxacum Pendant


The Taraxacum Pendant Light was designed in 1960 by Achille Castiglioni for Italian manufacturer Flos and was later brought back into production in 2006. Inspired by nature, Castiglioni draws on influences from the insect kingdom, and the Taraxacum pendant is no exception, with its innovative material choice and geometric form.

Internally, the Taraxacum pendant lamp has a sturdy steel frame, expertly shaped to make the Taraxacum a work of art in its own right. The “cocoon” resin used to create the outer coating evokes both the lightness of the fabric and the warm texture. The Flos Taraxacum Pendant is available in two sizes and remains a popular choice for a variety of interiors, both residential and commercial.
