Flos Spun Floor Lamp

Named ‘Spun’ after the technique used to make this distinctive floor lamp, the 2003 design for Flos by Sebastian Wong won the prestigious Red Dot design award just a year after its design in 2004. Described as having a 1960s edge, the Flos Spun Floor Lamp is an elegant and timeless design, indicative of Wong’s usual design aesthetic, striking a balance between functionality, aesthetics and refinement. The Spun Floor Lamp is available in two colour finishes: white or black, and the spun aluminium shade is topped with a sandblasted glass diffuser which works to produce a soft, glare-free and diffused light.

The Spun Floor Lamp also features a dimmer included on the cable, allowing the user to change the light output and therefore the ambience of a room with ease. The beautifully simple Spun Collection also includes a table lamp to create a cohesive lighting design and was the initial inspiration for Flos’ Architectural range of Soft Spun lights.
