Flos Smithfield S Pendant Light

The Flos Smithfield Pendant, designed by Jasper Morrison, has an aluminium body and injection-moulded opalescent polycarbonate diffuser available in either a glossy red, glossy green, glossy black, mud, white or matt black finish. The Smithfield Pendant Light provides a diffused and generous direct light, thanks to its wide open shade with a diameter of 60cm.

Jasper Morrison reveals that his inspiration came from looking at the lights in London's Smithfield Meat Market. By giving the design the name of this physical location in London, Jasper Morrison not only pays tribute to it but also asserts that the Smithfield Pendant is a modern restyling of a very well-known and popular shape. The Smithfield Collection also includes a ceiling version, both in LED and retrofit, ideal for spaces where ceiling height is at a premium.
