Established & Sons Medusa LED Pendant

The Medusa Pendant is a poetic and refined design created by Carlo Nason in 1969. Established & Sons has redeveloped the Medusa, taking care to remain faithful to the original while showcasing Nason’s expressive approach to design. Rooted in the experimental spirit of Italian Modernism, the Medusa’s sculptural form is inspired by the fluid, flowing quality of a jellyfish. Layers of hand-blown glass create a sense of movement, giving the pendant its sinuous expression.

The Medusa Pendant is fitted with a custom LED light source. When illuminated, the glass diffuser softens light into a warm, atmospheric glow with a sense of depth. This ambient lighting suits bedrooms, dining rooms, and living areas as well as commercial settings such as restaurants, bars, and boutiques. As the glass is hand-blown, subtle variations occur from piece to piece, for a truly unique pendant that celebrates traditional Murano craftsmanship.
