Established & Sons Filigrana Ellipse Pendant

British designer Sebastian Wrong created the Filigrana Ellipse Pendant in 2018. He aimed to craft a luminaire that evokes childhood and memory, resulting in a bold design laden with candy-striped patterns. Each shade is made from acid-etched, mouth-blown glass. Coloured stripes of glass are rolled onto the surface to create the candy-cane effect. This technique dates back to the 16th century, making the Ellipse Pendant a subtle yet effective blend of classic techniques and contemporary design.

The Filigrana Ellipse Pendant is available in tweo sizes and three bright finishes: Red, Blue, and Black. The glass shade diffuses light into a warm glow that surrounds the shade and fills the room with ambient lighting. This makes the Ellipse particularly effective in rooms that require a cosy and inviting atmosphere, such as a bedroom, living room, or dining room. Display on its own, in rows lining the length of a hallways or table or install in a cluster with other pendants from the Filigrana Collection to create a vibrant display that’s full of character.
