Bocci 14.31m Geometric Suspension Light
The Bocci 14.31m Geometric Suspension, designed by Omer Arbel, brings together 31 cast-glass pendants in a structured geometric arrangement. Part of the Bocci 14 Series, each glass sphere is formed from two hemispheres joined by a textured equator, with a frosted cylindrical void housing the light source. Rather than suspending the pendants from a shared canopy, the 14.31m uses 31 individual mini canopies to create a composition across the ceiling.
The 14.31m is available in Bocci's new hand-applied Mirror finish, which introduces a reflective quality to the original glass design. When fully illuminated, the glass appears clear and allows light to pass through. As the light is dimmed or switched off, the mirrored surfaces become increasingly reflective, incorporating the surrounding space into the appearance of the installation. Variations in the hand-applied treatment mean that each pendant responds differently to the light around it.
Suspended from adjustable coaxial cables, the individual pendants can be positioned to suit the installation. LED and Xenon lamp options are available, while remotely mounted power supplies allow the electrical components to be accessed for maintenance. The 14.31m is particularly suited to stairwells, double-height entrance areas, and larger living spaces where the geometric composition can be viewed as a whole.
Please note: The Bocci 14.31m Geometric Suspension requires a suitable new-build or suspended ceiling with remotely mounted power supplies. Cable lengths, canopy finishes, lamp options, and dimming requirements can be specified according to the installation. For further information and pricing, please contact us.
