Uxi by Arturo Alvarez


The Uxi linear suspension by Arturo Alvarez is composed of laminated plywood in a succession of vertical lines. The small bars of wood allow light to be emitted between them, giving a wide yet subtle radius of light both below and around the shade.

Arturo Alvarez is well known for experimenting with materials, and this Uxi pendant was created with ecological and sustainable design in mind. Available with different coloured diffusers which tint the emitted light, the Uxi expresses warmth in a bold way, although still remaining delicate due to its shape.
