Vigo by Artemide


The Vigo collection was created from the prototype 'Conica'. David Chipperfield, the designer, taking into consideration domestic lighting, he reinvented the classic conical lampshade, which houses the light source inside it. Comprised of two conical and overlapping shades, Vigo further emphasises the contrast of material and colour with the two shades; a black and metal inner shade and a larger, outer shade made of blown-glass. The beauty of the lamp stems from this contrast and the two shade work together to bring a direct and diffused downlight. Vigo is also available in a floor lamp version.
