Parachilna

Named after an Australian town on the outskirts of the desert, Parachilna describes themselves as 'humble luxury'. They chose their namesake because of the faith and passion of its residents, and they wish to replicate this within their work and designs. Based in Barcelona, with their headquarters located in Colonia Güell’s industrial area, they hope to make their mark on the design world and be inspired by the architectural expertise around them. They believe that the passion for design and the history of Barcelona will be infused into each and every one of their products.

Parachilna are dedicated to decorative lighting that embodies the integral passion for luxury. They define their idea of luxury as focusing on the integrity of the design, the quality of the materials and the artisanal craftsmanship that creates it. This high-quality craftsmanship is carried right through to the final product. Parachilna believe luxury comes from taking the time to craft the best product possible, without external pressure, as well as not taking yourself too seriously. The result is a brand that respects and honours years of craftsmanship, enabling it to stay alive, whilst providing lighting solutions that are emotional and long-lasting.

Parachilna describe their designs as 'human-made', as they believe that every person imprints their energy in each fixture. Each fitting and its components are made and assembled by hand. There’s someone who took out the ceramic from the mould, someone who blew the glass and someone who mounted the lamp and packed it. This makes each fitting one of a kind and adds a unique touch to each luminaire.
