Ward Wijnant is a Dutch designer, born in 1987. He began his design journey through training in furniture making at the Wood and Furniture College. He then went on to study at the Design Academy Eindhoven, graduating as an independent designer and ready to leave a mark on the world of design.
Wijnant founded his own studio in 2015, where he experiments with materials and techniques. It is his mission to interpret the diversity of older methods and materials, translating them into contemporary designs that pay attention to detail and finish. Ward Wijnant has been showcased at various exhibitions such as Object Rotterdam, Salone del Mobile Milano, Ventura New York, Dutch Design Week, and Operae.
