Tim Rundle is an industrial designer, originally from New Zealand. He graduated from the School of Architecture and Design at the Victoria University of Wellington, before relocating to London in 2008. He earned the title of Head of Design at Tom Dixon, a British lighting brand, before eventually moving on to establish his own design studio in 2015. Since then, he has worked with some of the world's most innovative brands, including Menu and Resident.

Rundle boasts experience across furniture, lighting, homeware, technology and transport sectors - resulting in a wide skill set and a knowledgeable approach to design. His work takes inspiration from Danish designers, resulting in elegant yet technical product design.

Alongside his studio, Tim Rundle also teaches at Central St Martins, and as an External Examiner at Brighton University.

"A designer who strives to have empathy for all the functions that surround bringing a product to market is able to exert more influence on the way their vision makes it into the hands, or homes, of the customer." - Tim Rundle
