Needs Studio is an Italian product design practice founded in 2020 by Marco Brunato, Davide Gerlin and Matteo Coracin. With backgrounds spanning design and architecture, the trio approach each brief through a clear method, briefing, research, consultancy, design ideas and prototyping, aligning brand DNA with their own sensibilities. The focus is on clarity, proportion and the sensory qualities of materials and light, delivering solutions that feel logical for the market and authentic to the client.

Their goal is to create objects that are identifiable and moving in their uniqueness, speaking for the brand they serve while reflecting the studio’s values. For Lodes, this thinking informs calm, sculptural lighting with strong technical performance, balancing optics for comfort and efficiency.
