Nahtrang Studio

Nahtrang Design Studio was founded in 2003 by Spanish designers Daniel Vila and Ester Pujol. The duo studied at Escola Massana in Barcelona, where Vila gained a degree in technical drawing, and Pujol obtained her degree in interior design. Since opening, Nahtrang Design Studio has worked with notable worldwide brands including Axolight, Estiluz, and Corradi. In 2020, their Circ collection won the studio the #MetropolisLikes NYCxDesign Award.

As well as their work as designers, Daniel Vila and Ester Pujol work as teachers, lecturing at several universities, including Escola Massana, the EINA School of Art and Design, and Elisava. They named their studio after the city in Vietnam, which inspires the spirit of their work together. Their shared vision is characterised by the geometric forms of deceptively simple-looking structures.
