Margrethe Odgaard is a Danish textile designer who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2005. After her studies, Odgaard worked as a printing assistant at The Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia, followed by seven years as a textile designer in the French fashion company EPICE. In 2013 she founded her studio, where she approaches design and specifically colour theory as a rich sensory experience.

Odgaard has been granted numerous prizes and awards for her work and has broadcasted her works in numerous exhibitions across the globe. Her work includes collaborations with some of the biggest Scandinavian design names such as Muuto, HAY, and IKEA.

"Look for fresh ways of combining and exploiting colour. Make the process as important as the outcome. Share your knowledge, ideas, and skills without hesitation. Be specific to order to become general. Use good tools and create new ones if necessary. Think through your hands. Free yourself from the limits of coolness. Allow things to evolve at their own pace." - Margrethe Odgaard
