Manuel Vivian

Manuel Vivian is a renowned Italian designer from Venice. He graduated from Venice Art Institute before beginning his career in design. He is an expert in artisan production processes, specialising in glass-blowing techniques due to his family background. Following his initial successes in glass products, Vivian expanded his skillset into a wider range of fields within interior design.

Manuel Vivian has collaborated with Axolight since 1996, where he has created multiple iconic collections, including the Aura Collection and the Bell Collection. His daughter, Vanessa Vivian, has followed in his footsteps, creating innovative lighting designs and continuing the family legacy.

Vivian’s work is influenced by his fascination with how light interacts with space. Using innovative design solutions, he creates functional lighting that enhances the mood and atmosphere of any environment. Throughout his career, Manuel Vivian has acquired notable accolades for his work, including the Elle Deco International Design Awards, 2010, in the lighting category for his Bell Pendant.
