Leclercq Viallet is a design studio based in Paris, France, founded in 2016 by design duo Théo Leclercq and Camille Viallet. The pair met while studying and, although they were on different courses, they supported each other and naturally began working together after graduating. Before founding Leclercq Viallet, they gained experience as project assistants for established design studios.

Leclercq Viallet designs furniture, lighting and objects, with projects ranging from small domestic pieces to work on the scale of the city. They draw inspiration from urban context, exploring the city for opportunities for creation and collaboration. In 2018, they released the research project “La Cité”, which explored shared seating in public spaces and received the public prize at Design Parade 13 at Villa Noailles. Their work has been displayed in exhibitions around the world, including Oxilia Gallery in Milan and 8×7 Gallery in Toronto, Canada.

“What we love about design is the multifaceted nature of the practice. We enjoy exploring different contexts, different industries, and different areas of expertise.” - Camille Viallet
