Joost van Bleiswijk

Joost van Bleiswijk is a Dutch designer based in Eindhoven. He grew up in Delft and studied at the Design Academy of Eindhoven. He shares a workshop with his wife and fellow designer Kiki van Eijk.

Joost van Bleiswijk believes in the process of “making”, and showcasing construction is a common theme in the Dutch designer’s work. He produced a hand-assembled floor lamp for Moooi, aptly named “Construction”, that is reminiscent of vintage construction toys. His “No Screw No Glue” series allows you to build furniture by interlocking sheets together, without the use of drills or screws, or tools.

As well as Moooi, Joost van Bleiswijk has collaborated with brands such as Bernhardt Design, ICE Carpets, Secondome, and Ahrend. His work has been exhibited in private galleries and museums worldwide, such as London, Paris, Milan, and Venice.
