Joel Karlsson is an industrial designer based in Gothenburg. He studied industrial design and architecture at Konstfack in Sweden before establishing his own design studio.
Karlsson strives to create products that will stand the test of time and creates products you live with, not consume. The main focus of all of his products, from the initial stage, is the consumers and market needs. His client list includes companies such as Skeppshult, Swedese, Bordörren and Markslöjd. He now works as Head of Design at Krook & Tjäder Design in Gothenburg.
