Herman Studio

Herman Studio was founded in 2012 by Helle Herman Mortensen and Jonas Herman Pedersen. The design duo has an extensive history in furniture design. Mortensen studied Industrial Design at Aalborg University, and Pedersen studied furniture and space design at Aarhus School of Architecture. The studio specialises in furniture, and aims to strike a balance between function, aesthetics and new approaches for each design.

Since its inception, Herman Studio has worked with notable companies around the world, including Ferm Living, Form & Design, and Flexa World. Their collaboration with Ferm Living saw the creation of the Herman Collection, a collection of chairs with an innovative design focusing on function and comfort. Herman Studio has won awards for their designs, including the German Design Award (Gold) for the Blueprint Chair, the Red Dot Award for the Flexa Popsicle series, and the FSC Award for the Extrude wardrobe.
