Davide Oldani and Attila Veress

Davide Oldani is the inventor of POP cuisine and a Michelin-starred chef. He opened his restaurant D’O in 2003 in Cornaredo, outside Milan, his home town, and has since opened an array of other establishments and won a variety of awards. Alongside his work as a chef and restaurant owner, Oldani has also entered the world of design, focusing on tables, chairs, dishes, flatware and glasses, inspired by POP: simple, functional, elegant.

Attila Veress is an industrial designer, born in Transylvania in 1990, and a graduate of IED in Milan. He has collaborated with a wide range of companies and his work spans various fields and disciplines, with the goal of creating value synergies between brands, products and people. In 2015, he set up his own studio, and now divides his time between product design, creative direction and strategic design projects.

The duo came together to design the Bonta Portable Lamp for Artemide, a design that combines food and light and is perfect for enhancing your dining experience, and interacts with objects on the table.
