Ciszak Dalmas is a Madrid-based architecture and design studio, founded in 2009 by Alberto Gobbino Ciszak and Andrea Caruso Dalmas. Both originally from Turin, Italy, the designers studied at the Politecnico di Torino before completing a European Design Labs master’s degree in Madrid. Before setting up their own studio, they worked with studios including Inga Sempé, Artemide, Pininfarina, and BRH+.
The studio works across interior architecture, product design, furniture, art direction, exhibitions, and research. Its client list includes Aesop, Camper, Loewe, Malababa, Max&Co., Zara, and Marset. Ciszak Dalmas also founded La Clinica Design, a furniture and object studio that grew from their early interest in experimentation, craft, and reworking materials.
For Marset, Ciszak Dalmas designed the Ambrosia collection, which began as a lighting piece for a Madrid fashion boutique before developing into a wider linear lighting system. Their work often moves between product and space, with lighting, interiors, materials, and atmosphere treated as part of the same design process.
"We opened up the field, we became ‘designers’, without any other labels." - Ciszak Dalmas
