CPRV

CPRV is a collaborative industrial design studio founded in 2020 by Camille Paillard and Romain Voulet, working between London and Marseille. Across furniture, lighting, products and interiors, their work is rooted in everyday use, with a steady focus on simplicity, materiality and long lasting function, what they describe as “all things to live with”.

A consistent thread in CPRV’s output is an interest in how objects are made and handled, not just how they look once placed. That includes a sensitivity to production methods, and a willingness to let construction and assembly become part of the experience, rather than something hidden away.

For HAY, CPRV designed the Aplat Table Lamp, developed through playful experiments with paper and folding. The flat packed format transforms a two dimensional sheet into a crisp, graphic form once assembled, and the silk paper surface softens the light into a warm, candle like glow, a practical, portable lamp that still feels considered in the details.
