Anu Moser is a Swedish artist and an expert in the restoration of ceramic articles, which she also teaches. Born in 1945, Moser lives and works on the island of Donsö near Göteborg. Her minimalistic designs with elegant and refined forms perfectly encapsulate her knowledge and experience with malleable materials and the fluidity of forms.
She has held exhibitions of her ceramic art all over the world and has even worked alongside Louis Poulsen, designing her first lighting solution, named after herself, Moser. The shape of the glass shade of Moser draws inspiration from the drop that hot glass forms when taken from the furnace. The Moser pendant is an extremely honest product, where all the parts, except the light source itself, are clearly visible. The original suspension fitting provides a raw and interesting contrast to the simple, organic shape of the lamp.
