Anne Dorthe Vester is a Danish architect and designer who obtained her Bachelor's degree at Aarhus School of Architecture and her Master's Degree at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. She also has a background in craft and has taken courses in fine woodwork at Copenhagen Technical College. After her studies, Anne Dorthe Vester founded her own studio in 2012, and a year later, in 2013, she opened MBADV alongside Maria Bruun, a design studio which focuses on functional hybrids and on the aesthetics of materials and form in relation to surrounding spaces.

The work of Anne Dorthe Vester is described as tactile and minimalistic, with an experimental approach that is based on the study of materials. She believes that excellent design emerges from collaboration, which is clear to see in her work alongside Maria Bruun. Vester has collaborated with a range of influential brands such as Pholc.

"I work across different materials, challenging their inherent qualities; furniture made of stoneware, structures built from soil, walls of leather. In my view, projects are enhanced through encounters with others' experiences and professional perspectives, making collaborations an essential part of my process." - Anne Dorthe Vester
