Andrea Quaglio & Manuela Simonelli

Andrea Quaglio and Manuela Simonelli were both born in Italy and graduated from the Università del Progetto in Reggio Emilia. They live in Paris, and work in Europe, Asia, and America. The pair decided to join forces and now run a studio based in Paris, which is dedicated to providing design services for a variety of sectors. Quaglio & Simonelli believe that diversity is a source of creative richness, and their work combines industrial knowledge and a creative artisanal approach. Their designs feel familiar yet are also littered with unexpected and poetic elements.

Their work together has reached critical acclaim and has led to them being awarded several international awards, including the Red Dot Product Design Award and the IF Product Design Award. As well as this, several of their products are now part of the collection of the National Foundation for Contemporary Art at the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris.
