Established in 1872 in Copenhagen, and named after its founder, Fritz Hansen is an international design brand, proud of their tradition of creating furniture and lighting of exquisite craftsmanship, quality, and timeless design. The first fifty years of the company were defined by a long list of prestigious contracts that included producing furniture for the Danish Parliament and Supreme Court at Christiansborg Palace, the University Library, Copenhagen City Hall, and other significant institutions. Fritz Hansen’s philosophy is that a single piece of furniture or lighting can beautify an entire room or building and heighten the well-being of the people who inhabit these spaces. Now their collections consist of world-famous classics and contemporary products within furniture, lighting, and accessories.
