Moooi Starfall Light

The Moooi Starfall circular suspension light is distinguished by its contemporary design, perfectly encapsulating the magical feeling of staring at a night sky. The Starfall holds 30 LED light sources, designed to replicate falling stars casting a warm glow over your environment. The use of different leg lengths generates a 3D effect, as if you really are stargazing in your own home.

Front are a Swedish design studio, keen to experiment. Their work regularly blurs the boundaries between lighting and interior design – using visual effects to their advantage. The idea for the Starfall light came to them when stargazing in the dark Swedish countryside. Amazed by the lack of air pollution and the instant gratification of a starry landscape, the pair wondered if it would be possible to create something that could replicate that feeling.
