Marset The W Suspension
The W, by Perez Ochando, is a spectacular flexible chandelier with fourteen rods each with a spotlight at the end. This stunning light is inspired by an old-fashioned winding machine, used to wind thread or wire around an axis and form a ball.
When creating The W, designers wanted to make a lamp that could be adapted to suit different-sized surfaces for the light to fall on. “Unfolding the light”, the metal structure allows vertical movement with a horizontal effect. It is able to be folded up to 1.2m and extended to 2m, providing different-sized lighting shapes upon a surface, for whatever your preference of amount of life. The rods from the main shaft can be moved upwards to expand the light, perhaps for a busy room where plentiful light is needed, or can be moved downwards for focus, perhaps over a dining table or a large workspace.
The luminaire has a modern aesthetic with the classic style of a chandelier that is timeless and ever-lasting. Each spotlight has a coloured ring, available in gold, ivory or terracotta and every finish creates a different chromatic reflection.
The Marset W Suspension can be supplied with an anti-rotation accessory at an additional cost. Please contact us for more information.
