The Marset Theia collection was designed in 2016 by Mathias Hahn and was inspired by the Greek goddess of the same name. Theia was the mother of the sun and the moon, which led to the motivation behind the expressive design. Each lamp in this collection features two faces, much like Theia herself, in the form of half-spheres; one is placed horizontally and the other vertically, which intersects with each other. Just as in nature itself, these formal elements make it possible for the light source to be projected, reflected and absorbed all at the same time.
Not only does Theia resemble phases of the moon but also highlights the sharp contrast between light and shadow. Marset Theia lights can be presented in a wide range of environments and can provide you with direct or indirect ambient lighting. The integrated dimmer allows you to personalise the output and create your perfect atmosphere.
