Artemide Mercury LED Ceiling Light

Artemide Mercury LED Ceiling Light is a series of large pebbles floating under an aluminium disc, reflected in the disc itself and in one another. Designed by Ross Lovegrove, it uses smooth biomorphic surfaces to create an indirect ceiling light that reads as a sculpture even before it is switched on.

The reflective pebbles and disc keep the fitting in constant dialogue with its surroundings, reflecting the dynamics of natural light and the movement of people around it. When illuminated, the integrated 3000K LED introduces a warm white light, and the indirect emission keeps the light directed back into the space rather than exposing the source.

Artemide Mercury LED Ceiling Light is available in a polished chrome finish, with a stainless steel reflective frame and aluminium lighting bodies. Its larger scale and suspended pebble composition give it a strong visual presence across residential, hospitality, and office interiors. Best suited for larger living spaces, dining rooms, entrance halls, and other interiors where a ceiling light can act as both illumination and a sculptural focal point.
