Fabbian Armilla

The Fabbian Armilla collection consists of a table lamp and a pendant light, both of which utilise a white glass diffuser that hosts a collection of metal rings around the surface. These lights were designed by Lorenzo Truant who took inspiration from the first representations of star and planet movements during the Renaissance period. At that time, these movements were commonly represented in opulent models, called armillary spheres. At first, the Earth was at the centre of these spheres, yet when they followed Copernicus' theories, the Earth was replaced by the Sun as the universe's centre. The spherical diffuser of these lamps resembles a shining sun, with the metal rings used to portray the movements of surrounding constellations.

The Armilla lights add a touch of elegance to your space, even when turned off. Thanks to the mouth-blown glass diffuser, these lamps produce a welcoming ambient glow. Each variation of the Armilla offers three finish options, allowing you to personalise the metal detailing - choose between gold, chrome or burnished metal rings.
