Americana Table Lamp by Santa & Cole

Designed in the 1960s, the idea behind the Americana was based on George Hansen's lamp collection from the 1950s, as the designer, Miguel Mila, was truly enthralled by Hansen's design. The lamps were built around a rotating arm, with a swivel placed in the middle creating a division of the horizontal axis into two separate sections. Mila took the design one step further, while retaining the balanced geometry, and created the Americana table lamp with a swing arm that has a right angled bend.

The swivel allows you to rotate the lamp, without needing to move its metal base. You push the arm away or towards you depending on the use. The Americana lights are a great reading companion, and can be easily positioned next to your comfortable armchair or on your bedside table. Americana is a perfect choice for residential use as well as contract use.

The collection includes a floor lamp and a wall light, which both have the iconic swing arm in a satin nickel finish and white linen shade.
