In The Sun Ceiling and Wall Lamp by DCW éditions


Designed by Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost, the In The Sun wall/ceiling lamp is an homage to Louis XIV who is now commonly known as the Sun King. The designers created the wall and ceiling light as part of the renovations at the Pavillion Dufour in the Chateau de Versailles. The palace is seen today as Louis XIV's biggest project, as he vastly developed the estate and made it the main residence of the French government and court during his reign.

The designers encapsulate sunlight through a gorgeous mesh shade that is available in a gold or silver finish, that casts beautiful soft shadows and produces a festive glow. The base is also available in a chic gold or silver metal finish, being reflective and mesmerising in nature. The In The Sun light can be installed on the ceiling or on the wall, being truly versatile and handy for multiple applications. Choose between 3 sizes, the small 190, the medium 270 or the large 380, to find the right look and size for your space.
