Arturo Alvarez Gea Floor Lamp


Gea was the personification of Earth in ancient Greek mythology, the primal mother goddess. Arturo Alvarez designed the Gea collection in reference to mother earth. A slender curvy body resembling erect feminine bodies wrapped in a veil made of stainless steel mesh.

The slim shape and the uniformity of the material, like a modern statue, achieved a Good Design Award (2007) for the Gea Floor lamp. A lamp that draws the attention of anyone that walks into the room.
