Empatia Wall/Ceiling Light by Artemide


Empatia, or Empathy in English, was created through the combination of traditional glass blowing traditions and Artemide's LED light technology. The great potential of this material has called for the collaboration of Artemide with master glass blowers. This co-operation allowed for full control of the manipulation of the Venetian glass, balancing between light and surface.

Designers Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Paola di Arianello, have chosen the perfect proportions of transparency and opacity to create a glass diffuser that reflects light, no glaring and no efficiency loss. Empatia lights have a core of LED light technology, with the light running through a transparent tube and into the glass diffuser. The collection also includes a suspension light and table lamp.
